PopUp Ads in abundance

Used to be a great go-to news app until the latest update has allowed an advertiser to utilize annoying 1/3 page popup ads in abundance, telling me that as an iPhone user I qualified for the chance to win the new iPhone - clicking "ok" only gets rid of the first ad in order to read the news, then quickly add another ad stating the same, "ok" and another ad, "ok" and another ad, "ok" until the popup ad finally retreats and I can actually begin scrolling the news.

Again, a FULL 1/3 page popup ad running continuously diminishes the reputation Reuters is a news agency to being that Reuters is an Ad Agency.
