Reuters News App Reviews

Until this latest update the Reuters app was one of my first checks for the latest news. Now it is not. New layout and formatting, including decreased font size and smaller pics, is less readable. Updates of stories now slower & often not done automatically. No place in settings to correct the above. Another case of breaking something that previously worked well!

Turns out Reuters has the same biased reporting as NYT and Washington Post. These media outlets is part of whats wrong with the USA and the world. "Freedom of the press" is over rated.

What happened to reporting the news in an unbiased manner. I enjoyed this for a little while and was able to sort out the opinions from the news. Now its all opinions being spun as news. Its pathetic. The final straw was there pitiful attempt to explain why there presidential polls were wrong. This is whats wrong with the media today. They are no better than CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, etc..

Where are the notifications for breaking news / top stories? Also no widget for no quick view of top stories.

Used to be a decent news source - nothing but shilling for the establishment now. Too bad...

Just hangs on empty screen

Reuters is the best organisation for fast, clear, unbiased news but this latest app isnt working right at all. For a start, it wont load anything more than about the 20 latest stories in any section. And now, Dec 1, it wont connect to the Internet at all. Is Reuters working on it?

Trump has driven Reuters to abandon objective journalism. Im not a fan of the President-elect, but Im also not looking to Reuters for MSNBC-level bias.

The app doesnt automatically update its articles when it is closed and opened.

Love this app. Great source for news. Only wish it were better offline - so I could read more on the subway.

This used to be one of my favorite apps, and I still use it occasionally. However, their coverage of Trump has been heavily partisan which makes it hard to trust the rest of their coverage. Sad...

Reuters is one of the best, most objective, and least biased news sources you will find anywhere. Unlike the propaganda machine of FOXNews, you can count on Reuters for accurate and well done reporting.

App is great. Try not to judge it because it reports news you dont agree with.

Fantastic news source. I just wish there was a way to save articles and videos for offline viewing throughout the day. It would also be neat if the app had some kind of daily simplified digest.

When I downloaded this app, I was hoping for unbiased, accurate news from around the world. In the past year it became painfully clear how biased and inaccurate their reporting is. It is shameful that this passes for journalism. Stead clear of Reuters, their lies are better camouflaged then those of CNN, but in the end still the same.

Despite what Trump supporters will tell you, this app is excellent. Its factual and doesnt use the over the top, bias language that you would see with Fox, MSNBC, or CNN. Unfortunately, some people cant comprehend that their candidate is constantly violating ethical standards, pushing economic policies that dont work and promoting discrimination. Yes, the news will write a lot about someone who is about to be a world leader and doesnt believe in facts. Just because it isnt what you think or points out flaws in your candidates plans doesnt automatically make it fake news. This is a huge problem that people need to figure out before its too late. This app is the way to go if you recognize the bias in major US news networks and just want the facts. If you truly want to make an informed decision or viewpoint, you need the facts and an understanding of the other sides opinion. This app is a step in the right direction.

At one time Reuters was the only news source I really trusted, now I have no idea where to get my unbiased non partisan news and thats kind of sad. Im not a fan of the president elect, but their coverage and condescending tones are ridiculous. I want accurate news I can trust, not scorn laced opinions. Please just go back to reporting the news accurately and professionally.
