Design and function the best Ive used. No annoying pop up ads a judge plus. All websites collect user data anonymously in the aggregate to determine how people are using it. So what? Paranoids shouldnt use then.

While I appreciate an upfront notice thats not buried in the terms of agreement, recording user data is not acceptable for an app of this nature imo. Am I assume the Reuters News Pro app does the same??? (iPad2 w/ iOS7)
There is a reason why Apple made the sliding transition standard. Please, stick with that. Plus, most the time its just an awkward drop shadow that scales - clearly a fail. Dont reinvent the wheel.
The app is not working in China, Shanghai, without a VPN.
Where are the SCIENCE and US categories?Where can I find science news?
Tried to load this new Reuters app many times over the past several months. Wont work.
this is the first time in almost 4yrs that Ive seen this app with no stars...you guys are slipping and slipping bad, add some breaking news alerts/ push notifications...somthing Ive been asking for for almost 4yrs...needless to say I deleted this app long ago....your one of the biggest new agencies in the world and you dont have push notifications...geezzs get it together guys!!!
The news is good, but there are better news apps out there. This app does not support landscape orientation so you are stuck awkwardly holding your device while reading articles.
The update actually loses the characteristic of Reuterss efficient news reading. The original Swipe-Left back to the list is better than the current Swipe-Right Only without even going back to the whole list of news. I can only read one after the other and waste time on some non applicable information.
Far cleaner and more utilitarian than the mobile website
Thank you for the pop up dialog box telling me that you are now in the activity tracking business and that I automatically agree with this. I deleted your app immediately. And good riddance.
Startup screen asks you to give permission for them to track your activity and gives you no option to opt out. Thanks anyway. Delete.
Mobile alerts finally - welcome to 2013, Reuters!
Great UI excellent unbiased content. My go to place for news.
This is a very nice news app.very happy with this app. Thank you.
I have been searching for a good news app and finally found it in Reuters. The number of news articles is amazing. Well written and professional. No ridiculous, sensationalized junk articles. Wide ranging topics. Thank you for a great app, Reuters!
I was a bit cautious at first, but I really enjoy Reuters. The app works well. One request though: Refresh your stories with updates sooner. I live in Chattanooga and I refused to listen to CNN or anyone else and they all seemed to pick up our most recent headline quicker. Would really like to see you update your coverage speed.
This is very good application give me news Thanks for this application
This app has no particular advantage over the News Pro app it replaces, for the user. But now it has ads, cluttering up the news, which presumably makes some bean counter at Reuters happy. Its kind of sad that a great company is no longer able to provide a public service without monetizing it.
This app has one MAJOR flaw. If you set your phone down for a few minutes, when you come back to this app, it reloads EVERYTHING in the app. Even if you were in the middle of an article, it takes you away from the article and puts you back on the front page, at the top. If you happened to be reading an article that you had to scroll far down for, you have to scroll even farther now since it adds news items to the top of the list. This app is pretty much useless because I have to spend so much time scrolling down trying to find the article I was reading when the baby crapped his diaper. I guess nobody at reuters uses this app, otherwise they would have fixed such a major flaw by now. I wonder which news apps the reuters people use.
