I cant help, but notice dated app icon. If the background was white instead of greyish and pseudo-3D. The app icon would look much better (like the Reuters tv app).

There seems to be a strong bias toward featuring Trump in this otherwise superior news app. After reading #1 headlines like "top reasons voters will choose Trump: to stop Clinton," I am deleting. I dont need propaganda in my news.

As usual, an app starts out great and the subsequent updates ruin it. Since update in April 2016, it doesnt recognize internet connectivity and crashes. Useless. Reuters is a great news service. Just Ho to your browser and watch it there. Just as good and saves memory. THANKS...IT IS FIXED AND IS, ONCE AGAIN, A FIVE STAR APP!

I like this app. Compared to my other news app of choice (Associated Press) this one is very stripped down, and I mean that in a good way. Simple, intuitive, economical display lets you choose categories and navigate through them easily and quickly. Its much less customizable than the AP app, but the categories are simplified and useful enough that it really doesnt need to be. Im not a bells and whistles guy, and I hate useless bloat in an app. I like my apps lean and focused, and this one is. I also absolutely hate "news" sources like Fox News that constantly promote their political agenda and presume to tell me what to think instead of simply reporting the facts and leaving the opinion to me. If theres a bias to the story selection or writing in this app, its not overly apparent except in certain places like the "Breaking Views" section, in which perhaps 80% of the opinion pieces appear to be business-focused. The AP app is more oriented toward popular culture and general interest (unless you customize it to not be), but even absent the ability to customize this app to your specific tastes, youll still find it easy to access only the content that interests you and get information about as free of unwanted propaganda as is reasonable to expect.

The looks of the application is good. offers decent news the materials. However, the application fails where it comes to smoothness and data consumption, even though I am using it on the best phone by Apple which is the iPhone 6+

This is what I like from a news app. Clean and user friendly interface. Its fast, support videos, sorted in chronological order and has a shortcut for new stories. Simple is better.
